Ukrainian cadets from Kherson State Maritime Academy, who are simultaneously pursuing education at the Lithuanian Maritime Academy in Klaipeda, have successfully completed the semester at both educational institutions.
During the New Year holidays, at the initiative of the Head of the Seafarers' Union of Lithuania, Alexander Kaupas, they visited the town of Nida. Its most famous natural attraction is the sand dunes on the coast of the Baltic Sea, which are considered the highest in Europe.
It is worth noting that MTWTU, together with ITF Seafarers' Trust, is implementing the second project, within which 10 sponsored places have been provided at the Lithuanian Maritime Academy for cadets who have enrolled in Kherson State Maritime Academy (KSMA) in the current academic year. Previously, 50 KSMA cadets successfully completed their studies at both universities.
