MTWTU participates in the 44th ITF Congress

The ITF Congress is an event where important decisions are made and the course of the federation is determined for the next 5 years.

The

44th ITF Congress, which takes place in Singapore from October 14

till 20, is attended by 2,600 trade union activists representing 600

transport unions from 140 countries of the world. Seafarers, port

workers, railway workers' representatives, civil aviation workers,

motorists and other transport workers united to strengthen the

influence of transport workers, because here, at the Congress,

everyone's voice will be heard. Interests of 75,000 Ukrainian

seafarers, port workers, cadets and other maritime industry workers

of Ukraine are represented by a delegation of the Marine Transport

Workers Trade Union of Ukraine headed by the Chairman Michael

Kirieiev.
