The Marine Transport Workers' Trade Union of Ukraine and the Danish Trade Union 3F are implementing their second joint project.
The event program is intended to raise awareness of the project participants during martial law in our country, as well as to increase the availability of information.
"Our main goal is to unite people and create opportunities for them to gain new knowledge. We recognize the importance of our work, so the trainings are an excellent opportunity to improve skills and enhance competencies. The topics of the workshops are specially developed taking into account the audience's preferences," said Oleg Grygoriuk, MTWTU Chairman.
In Odesa, the Maritime Union Center hosted a training on "Motivation System in the Management Activities of a Trade Union Leader" as part of the project. Anna Fil, director of the SIONAS Training and Consulting Center, head trainer of the Trade Union Leadership Academy, head of the "Global Transformations" international public organization, expert on social and labor relations and communication, author and trainer of the All-Ukrainian program "Anti-stress and conflict management at enterprises of different forms of ownership" and more than 60 topics of innovative training, shared her experience and knowledge with MTWTU trade union activists.
The motivation system is a real initiative to support and stimulate employees in achieving common and personal goals. Motivation of trade union membership is a set of external and internal driving forces encouraging people to join a trade union and maintain membership for a long time.
The training also addressed how to create an attractive environment for trade union members using methods of interaction and encouragement, how to communicate effectively with different generations, and practical tools for effective management and running a trade union organization.
The practical part was focused on group work, where participants prepared and presented video messages for new members to join the trade union organization.
It was an interesting experience that the training participants will implement in their work at their enterprises and organizations.
