On the 22 January there was held a meeting of the MTWTU with Danish Shipping and the largest Denmark shipowner Maersk. It was organized with the direct involvement of a good partner of the MTWTU - Metal Maritime Chairman Ole Philipsen.

The MTWTU First Vice Chairman took part in the meeting with Norwegian Seafarers' Union (NSU), Norwegian Union of Marine Engineers (NUME), Norwegian Maritime Officers' Association (NMOA), and Norwegian Shipowners' Association (NSA).
